Milan Fashion Week

My Favorite Looks :

Gucci: Frida Giannini gave yet another great collection for Gucci, keeping on the sleek and sexy image Frida has portrayed in the Gucci girl since she started back in 2005 (on the Spring 2006 collection) so many references to YSL and tribal (which i think is going to be a huge trend come SS) and it has such a feeling of Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 with the whole feeling and color palette (i've shown 5 looks below instead of 4 just simply because i loved Frida's outfit she took her bow in)

Prada: i see alot of references to Cristobal Balenciaga with the cut and spanish culture in the prints and the hair

Bottega Veneta: Tomas kept to his usual aesthetic of luxury over trend, while i think thats true, i see slightly edging in is reference to tribal with the tassels and weaving

Fendi: The silhouette at Fendi seemed to go down the same line as D&G with the whole i Love Lucy/70's feeling with the voluminous shapes in light fabrics

Versace: It went back to its heritage and gave such a 'versace' collection, using the normal versace logo in a bold way with the use of bright colors, keeping it young, fresh and bold, all of which tick the boxes for a versace woman

Jil Sander: Raf Simons kept things light and minimal, the usual again for Jil Sander but with splashes of color in fantastic shapes
