The Night Porter.
A significant source of inspiration for Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2011/12, especially for the amazingly talented Milliner Stephen Jones who created the Hats for the Fall Winter show, the collection was based on the guests at London's Claridges Hotel and the Bristol Hotel in Paris where Marc Jacobs visits regularly, he was inspired by the attire that the guests wore and the actions they got up to, which included looks on his catwalk featuring chic maids and the more sex crazed guest in a see-through coat with her hands chained behind her back in Diamond Handcuffs (as you do) and Marc Jacobs had the ultimate guest at the hotel to leave the impressive set which consisted of 4 lifts with ornate iron doors (at hand at the show was also french maids to assist guests at the show) the last look/guest was indeed Kate Moss who walked her first catwalk in 8 years (if you don't count fashion for relief last year) she walked along the 'marble reception' smoking away on her iconic Cigarettes, the only detail i wish Louis Vuitton had added, as the Louis Vuitton woman already has everything, a Cigarette holder! the show was pure perfection and showcased Marc Jacobs intense ability to craft luxurious and incredibly stunning clothes.
